Yeah, once again in my haste to post and then get back to whatever I was doing!
Just goes to show the "check twice cut once" adage holds true in many things

Solomon's seal?
no. my solomons seal are up now. No, sorry, my dear, this is a lily. Depending on the climate, they will bloom around July lst in my area. We don't know where the OP is, but obviously if this is a new pic, it is somehwhere very warm.

Not a day lily.
Although it looks like a big version of a lily of the valley.

On closer inspection of the plant in my garden, I do believe maO641 is correct. It is a solomon's seal. The plant in OPs pic is further along then my plants.

Hi Folks. I am in Guernsey, Channel Islands. About 100 miles South of UK. The area is facing South. This has turned into a bit of a puzzle? Hmm at first I thought they were snowdrops on a tree, but that hasn't produced any results. I will wait for them to properly flower and post again. Thanks Colin

Why don't you just Google 'solomons seal' ? This will show you all the growth changes to flowering. It is an unusual flowering plant. I use mine for background to hostas.
