I'm doing a project and am trying to find a simple way to make a clock tick faster as if the hands are going out of control. Some people have suggested hooking up a small dc motor or a pulse generator. I'm not sure what's the best way to do it and really need your help. Thank you!

Options vary... is this a dc powered or an A/C powered clock... and your level of fabrication skills.
