Hi, update from my last posting, this may be of some use...
After having 2 weeks of HCG tests every 48hrs, a D&C as they thought it was incomplete miscarraige, and more bloods to confirm. I ended up being admitted as an emergancy ectopic. I had an appointment to discuss the examination of tissue removed from D&C last Wednesday, (up until that day I still had not had any pains, bleeding). Night before my appointment I had tummy cramp and bloating. Next day I was still having cramp and felt faint. Fortunatly I went for my appointment and the DR, scanned me immediately. This hurt and caused bleeding. They found a mass of blood inside. I almost fainted when I got up. They diagnosed a ruptured ectopic. I had op within an hour, right tube removed. Spent a couple days in hospital and am home now recovering.
Whata rollercoaster 3 weeks in all!
For anyone unsure about ectopic, symptoms are different for everyone. I had only one day of cramp then nothing for 2 weeks, then a nother cramp. I had normal blood pressure up until the day it ruptured. In fact I felt healthy and had no bleeding.
If you suspect something, have any symptoms etc, please be persistent in getting bloods and scans until it is resolved.
