I have a crawl space & currently have a US Craftmaster lowboy gas hot water heater that fits comfortably in that area. It was made in 1991 & want to replace it. I looked at their site & do not see any gas lowboy heaters for sale anymore. All they have is electric lowboys. I would like a 50 gallon but will settle for a 40 gallon if it is efficient enough. If you have any info on this, it would be greatly appreciated, Thank you, Kenny L

Hi Kenny, I'm in the same situation as you. I think finding a lowboy 40/50 gallons are not a problem, it's the height you need. I have a crawlspace as well and I need a 30 gallon gas water heater (actually need 2 of them). I can't seem to find one that is about 40 inches tall. The shortest one I've found is about 45 3/4 inches. If you have a Lowe's nearby, they seem to have a good variety.
