I have a 1991 Honda Civic DX, while at a stop sign the engine will just shut off. I don't hear the engine starving for fuel or air. I put in park and it start right up and I can get to my destination. This happens at least twice a week. I drive the car short distances, maybe 10 miles a day. I had someone check the master relay, no burn marks almost look new, spark plug not fuel fouled, cleaned the air intake, air filter new, distributor oem new. I am afraid to drive it on the freeway because it may cut out on me. Any other ideas??

Thanks,

If the Ignition Control Module, coil, and distributor housing are new OEM parts, you shouldn't be having this problem. If the problem persists, I'd take the parts back and exchange them under warranty. Be sure to check for any codes, plus there's an outside chance the ignition switch may be bad. These sort of problems are normally ICM, coil, or internal distributor sensor related.
