I installed a pop up assembly last night in my bathroom sink and now I have a "drip" leak between the body of the pop up assembly and the tail piece. I do not believe I can tighten it any more so my question is; is there some sort of puddy or something that I should put on the threads of the tail piece?
Thanks

Pipe dope (pipe thread compound) or Teflon tape. I prefer pipe dope. Wrap tail pipe with masking tape for better grip.

If the leak is between "tail piece" and pop-up assembly - then the tail piece should be threaded. You wrap the threads with teflon tape and reinstall. If the tail piece comes with a nut and washer - then check your installation making sure the washer is installed the right-side-up or install new washer. Tighten with hand plus 1/2 turn with channel locks.
Plumber's Putty is not used to seal leaks from tail piece
