I was out with my guy friend and a guy that's in my economics and finance class likes me has my number while walking with my guy friend the guy that likes me (Chris) says
" hey can you reply to my last message I want to talk" so he waves then walks away and my guy friend says "text him" and I start to laugh then he says "what? go ahead I'm not jealous" and I said "I never said you were jealous " and he said "okay well I just don't want you "dreaming or thinking I am or did get jealous" why would he think I thought he was going to get jealous?. he's my friend...

He was just being a friend and reassuring you that he wasn't jealous. Maybe he thinks that he is stopping you from dating opportunities by spending so much time as your friend. I don't think you make that big a deal of this simple affirmation though, as confusing as it may be for you at the moment.
