I have been on the pill for a little over ten years. Last month I missed about six pills out of my pack. Last week my period was only one day and kind of light and there was only blood when I wiped. I put a tampon in and had it in all day cause I could tell it wasn't full. Now I'm nauseous and have period cramps like. I have taken two tests both negative. I haven't started my new pack just in case. Is there a chance I could be pregnant even though being on the pill that long? My brother and I don't use protection nor does he pull out.

Yes it's possible, but it could also be just from the change in hormones from the disruption in your usual routine.

Give it several more days, and if still no period, try another test. If negative, you could either see your doctor, and ask about having a blood test, or wait until next month and see if you have a period at that time.

Sure you can... you can get pregnant WHILE taking the pills... its a lot more likely if you miss a few.

No form of birth control is 100% effective even when its used correctly ALL the time. Any deviation does increase those odds.

The pills you took two month ago, mean nothing, so being on them for two months or 10 years is no different.

And it is the pills this month, that stop pregnancy this month, not the pills last month.

So missing the pills, of course you could be pregnant,

Even if you took every pill, the pill is only 99 percent effective, women get pregnant using the pill every month.
