Hi,I want to get pregnant. I had been with my husband for almost 7 years... had an abortion last 2002 without going to the hospital, does that affect?
Right now they say I have a polisystic left ovary... we tried several times,, I took some medications but I had been negative

It is unlikely that the abortion has had an affect on your current situation. Have you been trying for the entire time that you have been married, or is this more of in the last several months?
Keep in mind that while most couples will become pregnant within a year of actively trying, many will find that it takes longer, and all can be perfectly fine.
Have your cycles been regular? Has your doctor checked to see if you are most likely ovulating? Usually, depending on your age, once you have been trying for a year (with regularly tracking your ovulation) and have not had success, your doctor will start some basic testing on both of you. Have you gotten to that stage yet?

Where did the abortion happen, in someone's kitchen? If not at a hospital or clinic?
But have both you and the man been to a doctor and checked, including his sperm count. There are factors for the man, such as use of a hot tub, very tight underwear and other things that help lower pregnancy chances.
Also it is a matter of timing, you need to medically clock your ovulation cycle. (not online or phone applications) and time sex for 2 or3 days before actual ovulation.
