He has lived with her for 10yrs or more. Her family is forcing him out 3 days after her death what rights dose he have as an occupant. He Knows that He will have to leave But dose NJ law give him more time to vacate the house

Why does he have rights to property he doesn't own? Legally he is a tenant. They can give him 30 days notice to vacate. Then they can go to court to have him forcibly removed by the sheriffs. That's all the time he gets. He needs to start looking now or he will have to take the first thing he finds.

They can not make him move in 3 days. But they may come in and take all of the personal property of the person who died. Unless he was named in the will, he has no rights to those.

They will have to give him legal notice and legally evict him.

He may have received a 3 day letter, which is common. It puts him on notice that he needs to move within 30 days or face eviction. He can stall as far as the final day of a sheriff forcibly removing him, or leave sooner. He might be able to appeal his case to get a little more time to the eviction court, if they file for eviction.
