Hi, last month it was my first experience while I was starting my work in office, my ears started to vibrate like a pulsate, I felt annoying and immediately took leave and consulted Ent specialist. He prescribed me vertin tablet 16mg, I was alright taking that tablet.

Again from last two week I am feeling the same vibration in my ears and imbalance… I consulted another Ent specialist who did septoplasty surgery to me on 2010… He did some Audiograph tests using earphones in my ears and told there is no problem in my ears and I will become perfect in 10 days, he prescribed me with 2 tablets (prothiaden 25mg night time after food and prodex 20mg morning after food) I felt very anxiety and confused and fear like phobia very suddenly when I took prothiaden 25mg for the 2nd day. I phoned to doctor and he asked me to stop prothiaden as that was side effect. The third day afternoon I felt same and was sweating too.. Again I phone called to doctor and he asked me to stop both the tablet and asked me to consult neurologist.

Neurologist doctor told me I have panic disorder and advised I will be alright in few days. He prescribed me nexito 10mg and betacap tr 40… Unfortunately the next day after consuming both tablets, I again felt weakness in my body and dry mouth and wheezing.. Once I phone called to doc he asked me to stop betacap as that is side effect as I have asthma.. But even though after taking nexito I am feeling sick, difficulty in breathing.. I stopped all the tablets and I was fine little for the next day

Yesterday I had consulted in NIMHANS Hospital.. OPD Doctor told me I have VERTIGO and it will be fine after taking Stugeron 25 mg for 15 days. I was also referred with Psychiatrist in the same hospital and was told to stop all those Antidepressants tablets and told me to control my breathing techniques while I will be attacked with anxiety…
So I have stopped using all those pills and I am trying to control myself when I get anxiety…

I am thinking to take Stugeron 25 Mg from today as referred by OPD Doctor for my inner ear vibration and imbalance feelings…

My Question is will I become all right soon with self-controlling my anxiety??

This is a hard one and I believe it is beyond the scope of most the people here. It is definitely beyond my scope of knowledge, but I will give you my opinion anyway.

There are times when the body goes out of balance and doesn't return to normal. Sometimes medication restores the balance, but you're are apt to go out again. Some things are purely in the mind and it can change/alter a good number of things subtly so you don't notice. In that case self-control can help, but it isn't a be all end all and fix all for it. Controlling it on a rational and intellectual level will help, but if it is more of a severe chemical imbalance then this will be almost impossible.

How does this affect you? Well I can't say if the self-control will help. I can't say that medication would help. What I can say is that you've been bouncing around doctors and getting a different opinion from each. I would take the time and find the best doctor you can and go there. Don't stop until you get a definitive answer about what is going on. It really sounds that they don't know and are throwing medication at you in hopes that it will fix the problem and it isn't.

Good luck.

My friend you have to many different doctors that are not coordinated on YOUR behalf. I highly suggest you find ONE and let HIM refer you to other specialist if he thinks it's necessary.

You need one doctor who is aware of all your issues, and problems with your meds, in my opinion, to better manage your care. No, I don't think controlling your anxieties on your own is a good idea, but ONE doctor can better manage and adjust ALL your meds.

Complete agreement with talaniman here... really a bad idea to be bouncing between doctors who in some cases in some places may not be aware of what another doctor is prescribing... certain medications can have severe and dangerous interactions and some might actually significantly amplify the effects of another.

And no... you can't control much of you own health except weight... the rest needs proper treatment and that sometimes means proper medications.
