Okay so my job title is lead customer service operator, I don't deal with any customers, I wanted to know what are the responsibilities of a cso? Like job duites and stuff like that! Thanks

It depends on the company with whom you are employed. Job descriptions for a CSO vary greatly depending on what the company does. It would help to know in what industry you are employed. Maybe even the company itself.

I would first suggest asking for a job description for your position from the company with whom you are employed, or with whom you might like to be employed.

A title is a name your company gives you, each company in the US is suppose to have a written job description of each job and what its major funtions are ( this is for ADA so if a disabled person is refused a job, it can be shown they could not do the major funtions of a job)
So merely ask to see your written job description.

But honestly your duties will be what ever the company tells you to do.

See, I got hired as a receptionist, got placed in the back mailroom, my co. is lanier, I asked to have a print out of my job description, they can not camo up with one, but my manager emailed me a list of everything I do, and said that's what a cso does. It is not an exact copy of my job title.. but I don't know...
