Lead man works for corporation that is trying to take over a city block for new construction. He is also dating (engaged to?) head of company's daughter, whose family has a Christmas (New Year's Eve?) dance party. He goes to a dance instructor for lessons, learns that her studio is one of the businesses being taken over, and falls in love with her.
