Hi everyone,

Basically I had unprotected sexs several around my ovulation days.. Im not on any sort of birth control, I am now 5 days late my period.. and brown discharge I guess has started to come.. only every time I wipe. Which has never happened before.. Iv been getting stomach cramps also.. I took a clear blue digital test and it says "not pregnant" and also a first response test saying "not pregnant".. is it still possible I am pregnant and that It could be to soon to tell? Even though the tests say can test up to 5 days early.. I am meant to be going out on a work night at the weekend and I don't want to drink if I am.. Please any help will be much appreicated :)

Maybe 1% of women know when they actually ovulate.. because it requires actual testing to determine. Apps are essentially worthless.

You took a test after only 5 days late... you really should be waiting until you are 14 days late as early testing is far less reliable.

Sure they CLAIM a lot... a positive test even if early is rarely wrong... but they don't tell you about the high percentages of false negatives from testing early.

You also MUST only ever take a test right after waking up... the first time you pee that morning or you will almost certainly get a negative.

Yes the tests do say that, and some women can test that early, What time of day you take the test also matters.

The best time to test is 14 days late. So you need to wait a while, and test again.
Always test, first thing in the morning, as soon as you wake up, with first urine of the day. If you tested later in the day, you can try another test now, in morning

Periods can be off schedule now and then. It's possible that the brownish discharge and cramping are due to your period about to start. If still no period after several more days, try another pregnancy test, or you could see your doctor for a test in office.
