I have a single lever moen faucet with sprayer. Turned on the faucet and went to use the sprayer. When I used the sprayer nothing came out and water quit coming out of the faucet. No matter what I do with the lever on the faucet I have no water coming out.

Inside the faucet spout there is a little valve called a diverter valve, When you use the spray the water coming out the spray closes that diverter valve. That stops the flow of water out the spout. When the water flow out the spray stops, a spring opens the little valves so that water can come out the spout. That little valve is stuck in the closed position.

Moen faucets are warranted for life. Call Moen, 1-800-289-6636 and request a replacement diverter valve.

See the attached file, second image.

Remove the handle by loosening the set screw.
Remove the spout retaining nut.
Remove the cartridge.
Remove the spout by pulling straight up.
There you should find the diverter valve.
