I have a Mountfield Lawnmower with a Tecumseh Recoil / Pull Start. The spring broke just where it connects into the mechanism. I disassembled the unit and after 'softening' the spring I was able to create a new tang. However when I now try to re-assemble I cannot. I would appreciate some guidance.
