I have a two knob system in my bath/shower. For some reason the hot water knob only turns slightly and only allows the hot water to drizzle out. How can I fix that, so I can turn it to get more water out...

Hi Tina.

You would need to remove the handle, shut off the water to the house, drain water from the pipes to the lowest fixture in the home and then remove the hot water stem and washer to see what may be causing the issue.

Do you own or rent the building? If you rent contact the landlord. If you are the owner let us know if you or you and a friend need help with this... we can usually talk you guys through the work. In most cases, this is usually an easy job!

Thank you for the response, we own the home. When we first bought the home we had a plumber come in and do some work, they actually replaced the faucet in the bath, were also the ones to get our hot water heater going for us. That is how the water came out from the get go, but then randomly one day it had great pressure. This lasted a couple weeks to a month and then it went back to the low stream. Thought maybe settlement but wasn't sure since there were no problems any where else.

Hello Tina,

Please tell us the brand and the model number of your faucet, Thanks.
