Check for ABS and OBDII codes. Fill tires to proper pressure and see if the traction control light goes out--it may require you to use a code reader or scan tool. Did you open the cap to the master cylinder reservoir, prior to forcing the piston in the caliper? Did you bleed the brakes, after all of the repairs? When was the last time you completely changed the brake fluid?

Tire pressure correct, new caliper new jeep 24000 miles guess I need to stop by O'rileys scan codes. Thanks for suggestion.is it possible sending unit has crystallize becoming inoperable due to extreme heat. Caliper and rotor were smoking hot

For the caliper being smoking hot, make sure the caliper pins are lubricated with silicone grease. Don't assume the manufacturer did that because the caliper is new. Also, check the brake hose--internal breaks can prevent the brake shoes from properly retracting. Once, again, I would completely change the brake fluid. New fluid has much better lubricity and prevents the piston from binding. If you do all of these things, the square-cut seal inside the caliper should allow the pads to retract and not generate excess heat.
