'Rolled your ankle' isn't even a medical term. Sprains and strains are. From there, you are examined to see if tendons or ligaments have been torn or just over burdened.
If your DOCTOR is getting frustrated, you need to stop.
1. Soak your foot in hot water as often as you can.
2. Keep it elevated as often as you can, while rotating it slowly and gently.
3. No soccer as long as you are complaining of pain. You can't have it both ways. Walk to keep it limber.
4. Get an elastic bandage wrap, or slip-on elastic cuff.
Having said all that, I'll say that I once fell down some steps and landed on the side of my ankle. Hurt so bad I couldn't touch my foot to the floor. One day, maybe 5 days later, I was pressing gently on it, and a massive bruise rose to the surface. Blood had been pressing against nerves/muscles/bones, and as soon as the bruise rose, the pain was gone. I later found that I had a tiny bone chip on the side of my foot. Treatment? None - that sort of break is just left to heal on it's own.
I am NOT saying that will be your case at all.
After this is all over, have a friend peer at your feet while you run past, and look closely at how your feet land. You can also jump rope in front of a full length mirror. Video even better. You'd be amazed how many people have one ankle that turns in or out a bit. If that is the case, see a foot or orthopedist specialist. Your coach may know someone to see locally.

Rolling an ankle is so easy for the normal active kid. I don't see why your parents or the doctors can be frustrated. Worried maybe but not frustrated since kids get all sorts of injuries and scrapes, and scratches just from playing.
If it happens a lot to you though, the same injury, now that can be frustrating. That when you talk to the coach for better instructions.

I would guess 'frustrated' because nothing was found that needed special treatment other than the usual, which is all done by the patient.
And possibly frustrated because the patient isn't doing any of it, and just wants an instant fix.
