Hello

My name is Dalia. I'm 31 years old female from Lebanon.

I had been living in UAE for over 25 years until 2011. I got married to a wonderful man and moved to my home country (Lebanon). I was under my father's sponsorship that time and my visa expired in 2013 because I was outside UAE for over six months. My family is still in UAE.

I visited UAE on a tourist visa twice in 2014 with no issues. I had a new passport now because I changed my second name after marriage and took my husband's surname.

In 2015, my husband got a job offer in Dubai so he moved. My father went to immigration department to cancel my old visa but the man there said that I have been banned from ever entering UAE again. He gave no reason and when my father asked more questions, he started to get angry and ignored my father.

We are shocked. I have never done anything, no crime, no misbehaviour, nothing. I really want to go back. I can go back on visit because they don't have my eye scan. I want to know if I apply for resident, will they know from my fingerprint data that I am the same person? I never went through the deportation process of having an iris scan especially taken and stored in the computers.

I want to move back to UAE :(

You need a lawyer.
You need to find out why you are banned. Maybe your husband did something wrong? Is he a Lebanese citizen? Could you fit some definition of a marriage of convenience, not spending much time together in the same country? Did you leave UAE incorrectly? Why don't you contact immigration yourself to find out?
