The old saying "I'm not contagious after 3 days" is a total lie, yet even the visiting nurse who gave my dad a cold that led to pneumonia said it.
You are contagious as long as you have symptoms - coughing, sneezing, runny nose, ALL of that must be GONE GONE GONE.
What's the hurry?
Don't even touch anything around her, and carry antiseptic wipes for every doorknob and handle if you live with her.
