This film was probably in the 1980's or so, and was about a family in the country with a child (possibly children... 2 or 3) who meet a "ghost child" a little girl. She seems to be searching for something, perhaps a doll, and at (or near) the end of the movie she finds the doll part way down an old well. Not sure if the doll holds a clue to the "ghost child" murder or what the significance of the doll was, but once the doll was found the "ghost child" can rest in peace.
