Why were you doing count? But the doctor who ordered the test should be reviewing it with you.

As the others have said, it would be best to discuss the results with your doctor. Did your doctor go over the numbers with you? Count, movement, and shape numbers are within the norm. Certain medications, smoking, poor diet, and overall health/lifestyle can play a role in sperm health. Something's you may not have control over, but you can be sure to eat well, stay well hydrated, exercise, avoid smoking, etc. All the things you know would be wise to improve your general health, can also impact your sperm health. Your doctor would be the one to advise you if anything more than perhaps some lifestyle changes may be in order.

So when is your follow up visit to your attending physician, to get an explanation for the lab results and ask/get answers to your questions, and get a plan to proceed?
