I need to know if I need to get a plumber for this problem

It's a simple task to install a water line to your fridge for ice and water. Go to UTube and watch the ways that plumbers install a water line and decide if its something you want to try yourself, or if calling a plumber is best for you.

I don't get it. You have a water line and want it gone? It should be a matter of a shut off under the sink. Go look and report back. And tell us what material the water line is.

I reread your post and it's a simple thing to disconnect the water line to the old fridge, and connect it to the new one. The guy bringing the new one may do it for you. Wouldn't hurt to ask them.

Your post is a bit unclear. Do you want to connect the water or does your new unit not have any water connections at all?

Like every one else says your question is not that clear if you are buying a new fridge the people who delivers the new unit will help you to connect the water line, if you are installing the new fridge your self please tell us the brand and the model number of your fridge then we will help you, Thanks.
