I was attacked kicked and punched. I was coming off my menstrual after being taken to the ER by ambulance. I began to bleed real bad. Dr.s said I had bruised ribs and several contusions. I was given pain meds and sent home. It's day ten and the bleeding is severe and doesn't seem to want to stop. Should I be concerned or could it just be nerves?

Nerves, no, don't think so, after a traumatic event like that. Go to the ER Immediately !

Even though you were treated at the ER, a follow up with a doctor should have been made a lot sooner than 10 days. Please see your doctor, or go back to the ER, ASAP.
