Hi! I have a few questions.
1.) If taking a pregnancy and its expired, is it more likely to give a false negative or a false positive?
2.) I am a 27/28 day cycle person (depending on what time of day I actually started the month before) I am never late. This month I am so far 4 days late. I have took 2 pregnancy tests but they were both expired and came up negative, is it possible it's a false negative?
3.) I have experienced light cramping, frequent urination, back ache, being super tired all the time, hot flashes... is it a possibility that I could be pregnant?
4.) My husband and I have been Trying to conceive for 26 months now, is there a possibility that I'm thinking myself into being pregnant? Or is that even possible?

I can't say that my boobs are sore cause I have real sensitive boobs to begin with so I wouldn't know if its my everyday sensitivity or pregnant sensitivity so I'm keeping that out of the symptoms category

Thank you for your time!

Many symptoms can be either PMS or pregnancy related, and you can sometimes be more aware and watchful for signs when you are trying to become pregnant.
Since you have been trying for awhile, your period is late, and you are experiencing common symptoms of early pregnancy, it would be a good idea to get a new test or you could just see your doctor for a test there. Good luck!

Just an update, I done a new pregnancy test this morning and it came up negative. I'm going to try to relax and give it till next Monday. My mom said when she was pregnant with me and my siblings that it didn't show up on a test for a week with 1 of us and the other 2 it took 2 weeks late until it it showed up. So I figured just relax and not think about it and come Monday if I still haven't started do another test or possibly go to the doctor.

Rule of thumb is to wait until the period is two weeks late before testing. Yes, some women will get a positive before the two week time, but there is a higher risk of false negatives prior to being two weeks late. Also, remember to take the test using first morning urine b
