Does the Noma timer need to be reset daily? I'm using it outdoors for my block heater. I set it in the evening, to go on in early morning. Everything is plugged in but doesn't seem to be working. This has happened 2 days back to back.

Even though Noma makes a number of different timers and I can't say for sure, I suspect the timer is bad. You shouldn't have to keep resetting it. Of two similar timers I have, one works and the other is dead--both are new. It is likely made in China.
You may be able to avoid using a block heater, if you use full synthetic engine oil (e.g. Mobil 1 or Amsoil) and the outdoor temperature does not drop below -30 degrees F.
