I was not expecting to take an EtG test tomorrow morning (Monday). Here is my consumption. Wondering what odds are of passing and if I can do anything to increase odds. I am 5'7" 165 lb female.

Wed - Combination of Rum Chata, whiskey, and red wine. I blew .02 Thurs morning at 8:30 am. I was at zero no later than 10:30 am. Consumed quite a bit Wed night.

Thurs - no alcohol
Fri - no alcohol

Sat - 2 beers within a 2 hour period about 4-6 pm
1 shot of Rum Chata in hot cocoa about 9 pm
1 glass of red wine about 11 pm

Is it possible for me to pass this urine EtG tomorrow morning and is there anything I should do to assist a successful test? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Most likely you will fail this test. What do you stand to lose? Is this for employment? Probation?

To add to J9's question, what are the acceptable levels you are expected to reach?

Zero what? So basically you got caught doing what you were not supposed to do. Sorry, but that was your decision. The only thing to help you pass future tests is abstinence.

You should find out the facts instead of assume, because if in FACT there is zero tolerance for alcohol, then you knew before hand that only total abstinence was REQUIRED. Is this job related, court ordered, or doctor required?

Yes. I will do that.

I am not on probation. I have an ignition interlock. I had a violation on the interlock because I ate during a rolling test. 5 tests during the drive. One in the middle was a violation because I had not rinsed my mouth adequately. 2 prior passed. 2 after passed. Attorney recommended to me that I complete an EtG test Monday morning which I will try to do if I can get there, but it would have to indicate no alcohol consumption to be of any benefit. I just didn't know if it was worth trying.

I understand what you are saying and cannot undo what has been done. I am simply trying assess the damage. I am diligent about the interlock but have not abstained. Drinking and driving will never be a consideration for me. In order to have my license reinstated, the State did ask for total abstinence. It has been 2 1/2 years since I screwed up my license. I have had no issues since.

If anyone has scientific knowledge or personal experience, it would be helpful. If just being a captain obvious, that is not helpful.

If total abstinence, and compliance is a problem, then you may need additional help outside of the court. Please be proactive in seeking that help, and there is no shame, in it as passing the tests is as important as NOT having driving issues. In light of what you wrote you do need guidance to make better choices, based on facts and not just feelings, and not just for the court, but for yourself as well, and that is worth the efforts.

Do you work? AA can help, and would be a positive step in the right direction. They can give you both positive support ad direction. That's my suggestion but that decision is YOURS. Its never too late for a better decision.
