Yesterday I had a light brown discharge that was very light there wasn't any cramping . Well about 5 this morning I started feeling some mild cramps. My period wasn't due until today. Ithe discharge is now dark red but it is still light. Usually with my period I have to use tampons and pads when it started. Im not having to now. Can you offer any advice.

How old are you?

This could just be a wonky period. They happen from time to time.
