My sister is 81 I am 78. We have a plumbing problem. I am getting no water to the line for the ice maker, also a faucet on the front and one on the side of the house.I am also not getting water to some of the sprinklers. I don't know if It's a broken pipe or what it is. I have no money at all. I don't know what to do.
Thank you for any help you can give me.
I live in CA in los angeles county.

It's time to make some calls -- to your public library's reference desk, to your village and township offices, and to your county's senior services office. (The library will give you the latter three numbers, by the way.) I'm guessing there are volunteers and/or agencies willing to help you. Area churches are another place to check with.

This isn't an emergency, so if you don't want to annoy people when calling around, please don't say it is. Water lines to ice makers break, clog, or freeze constantly. Get out your old ice cube trays or buy one at a dollar store. You don't need sprinklers.

I agree with above post. Not getting water to sprinklers or icemaker is not considered an emergency. Repair of sprinklers my be costly. Icemaker should be just matter of common sense: make sure your valve is open ( the one where icemaker line attaches to water supply), and make sure your FILTER inside fridge is not in a need of replacement ( if dirty, it will stop water flow ). I am sure you can deal with icemaker yourself ( or ask your friend ) and sprinklers can wait until next season. It is raining in LA for the last two days, anyway.

Question: What part of LA are you in ?
