I've been spotting for 4 days and this has never happened to me before, I started my period in my late teenage years(17) and I have sharp pains in my side and regular back problems due to scoliosis and I'm not sure what it is, can you help?

Is pregnancy a possibility? Sometimes hormones may fluctuate which can cause a change in cycles. It may just be an off cycle. Are you on any sort of hormonal birth control? That can sometimes cause irregular periods or bleeding. Are you having regular periods and this is spotting outside that time? Some women will develop cysts or polyps that can result in some spotting/bleeding and sometimes pain.

There can be a number of possible reasons for unusual spotting/bleeding. If the pain and or spotting continue, it would be wise to see your doctor.

I don't think pregnancy is the problem, I was told I couldn't have kids. I'm not on any kind of birth control and I have irregular periods and this is my first time spotting,but I also have continuance bathroom runs and not sure on what to do
