Hi Folks,
I'm attaching a photo below, but about a month ago I knocked the soap-holder in my shower (which was affixed to the wall/tiles) clear off, exposing about a 3x4 inch area of (drywall?) to the shower. My initial reaction was that the exposed area, as well as the right angle of the shower relative to the exposed wall (very little water actually makes contact with the exposed area), would be inconsequential, but a roommate isn't so sure and is worried about water-damage.
Can you folks let me know if you think this is something we ought to repair ASAP? The shower-head is to the left of the photo.

Thanks in advance,
Mack F.
