Hello, so I've posted a few times about problems with my period.. so back in August I was giving meds to help regulate me and it worked until now my period have been spot on.. my last period was oct 2-6.. I'm now I few days late on this month cycle. Im trying to conceive and I've had unprotected sex multiple times.. I'm still not to sure when or if I'm ovulating I experienced the milky discharge and what not. But normally that only last about a week. But I've been experiencing the milky discharge since about a week after my period ended in oct. I should be on my period this week and still nothing but the milky discharge.. so I took a test this morning and it was negative... to early maybe? Is it normal to have the milky discharge when period is due? Or late? Im new to this whole regular cycle and ovulation since I've had irregular period for so long.. any advice will be appreciated thanks :)

It is too early. Milky, odorless, discharge is normal during your cycle. It becomes abnormal if the consitency/smell/colour changes.

You're going to need to wait until your period is late by about two weeks. That rules out a late period. Goodluck!

Thanks! There is no odor or color (other then white) not inching or burning just that past few months the milky discharge didn't last this long I've read about a dry spell after ovulation and before new cycle which I've had in August and September.

Wait until you are at least two weeks past due for your expected period and then take a pregnancy test using first morning urine (because in the morning, your urine is less diluted and the pregnancy hormone will be more concentrated if you are pregnant - you will get a more reliable result). If it is negative, wait another week and see if you get your period and if not, take another pregnancy test. If it is still negative and you're still not on a regular cycle, go back to the doctor. Have them make sure to check you for conditions like polycystic ovary syndrome and endometriosis, both of which can mess with your cycles and your fertility.
