I had an abortion on Monday. I was stupid and drank and had sex with my boyfriend. I was warned that I would have cramps. But they also said that you can't have sex for two weeks. I know I was stupid for having sex so please don't lecture me. I looked up what would happen about having sex right after and it said I could get AN affection. But how do I know if it's the cramps or if it's the abdominal pains? Do they feel different?

Kind of hard to say really, abdominal would be higher up, cramps lower down.
I find it hard not to lecture you. Yes, you could have more then an infection in your lower area and you should see your doctor immediately. Cramps and pains are a warning sign that something is wrong, too soon after your abortion.
This could interrupt you having children later in life.
What were you thinking, it is your wellbeing to consider?

This site is to answer questions. Not to be lectured. I drank cause I couldn't believe I actually went through with it. I couldn't come to grips with it. I didn't realize what I had done until the next day. I don't need you to lecture me. Maybe you should respect that instead of lecturing everyone on this site. I see your name all over it.
Not to mention who are you to lecture me anyway.

You should be well versed in what cramps feel like. If they're not in the area that you expect them, go to the er. Also keep a keen eye on discharge. Make sure it stays the same, any difference needs to be dealt with immediately lest some serious complications could render you sterile or expired.
Please follow the directions and advice of your doctor. They give you these recommendations for your protection. Also I would consider your life a little, What caused you to drink enough to have unprotected sex. What prevented the protection. What should change. Take this as a moment for contemplation.
Good luck.

Hostler those guns. You got an answer from her. It so much that we're concerned that you drank but the fact that you had intercourse. If I had had that happen to me or my wife. I would drink heavily as well. Drinking impairs judgement which is why you're going to need to pay a bunch of attention to your body and how it is reacting.
You know when you have an abortion it opens your cervix and it takes a few days to a couple weeks for it to close. Which means that any of the normal flora from his penis could get in there and cause an infection. This is serious stuff. You might not feel it but we're concerned with you and your health. I, as well as tickle, get the feeling that you're not taking this situation as seriously as you might want too.

I couldn't help it, and I said I would not, or you don't know what lecturing is. stay tuned for whatever you get on this site. We don't cut corners and you have no say in what kind of answers you get here
What kind of abortion did you have ? A clinical one, or a cut throat one ? And like I said, it is all about your well being, but you were feeling really good at getting out of being pregnant, so you let him. To your undoing, your health. Give me a break.
You saw my name all over IT. And what di you find, bad advice, good advice, you tell me.
I do respect you, I respect my own body, and YOU SHOULD RESPECT YOUR OWN BODY.
