Here we see a young Pakistani girl who stood against the Taliban given true recognition, this took a courage beyond sitting in an ivory tower making prouncements. I applaud this decision

First time in its history apparently. I don't expect them to keep doing the right thing, with their long record of giving it to the wrong people.

And I agree this time THESE people actually did something to deserve it for once.
