I have started a new birth control pill last month. I started taking them as directed, the first day of my period (bleeding or spotting, in my case, spotting) anyway that was August 27, I will be done with the first pack today, and I am still spotting. I was spotting and then I had a week like a normal period and now spotting again. I called the nurse she said it was normal for the first 3 months, this kind of sucks. I was in a different birth control and I've never experience this before. Have any of you ever experience this?

Every woman will react a little bit different to a birth control. If the nurse says that this is normal then I wouldn't worry about it. It is probably normal. Your body is getting used to this and probably didn't expect some of the physilogical changes that the come with the type of birthcontrol you have right now.

If this doesn't change in a couple months then talk to your doctor about a different birth control method.

Thanks CravenMorhead... I thought it would be normal, but it is getting annoying, after a month you know? I will wait and see what happens. Like I said I did have different birth control pills, but never experience this. Thanks, hopefully it will be over soon!
