I'm a 13 year old girl with post concussion syndrome.
Two days ago, Friday afternoon, I hit my head on a metal pole . It's been giving me a nasty headache, a lot of severe dizziness, feeling sick to my stomach, I'm tireder than usual, ringing in the ears and head. Can't balance. Things are louder and brighter than usual. I have trouble staying asleep.
I go back to school tomorrow, and Im in 7th grade. We do a lot of writing and reading, and right now, that's hard. I can't concentrate or think right.
I keep forgeting things in a matter of seconds.
My parents don't know I hit my head and feel this way. Should I tell them and have them take me to the ER ?
What would they do for me in the ER? How do I convince them to take me to the ER?
