Hi, and thanks for any help! We have well/septic. Problem started when we were using the outside hose for the pool. We started having cloudy water in kitchen, very low water pressure, one time muddy looking water. Toilet water was also very cloudy. My washer would start normal water flow, then immediately go to trickle. I was told to check the filter in the washer cold water hose (I only use cold). There was a bit of sediment. This worked for a bit, but same problem. I took the hose off and it was filled with sediment. I just removed the screen filter to be able to use washer. Just had a new water pump installed a few months ago. I learned from your site to time the pump and write down the pressure. I turned on my kitchen faucet and the pump took several minutes to kick on. Pump was at 32, then fluctuated wildly between 20, 20, 40 and stopped at 42. We have Master Water Conditioner NS-10T-BY, big blue tank with salt container next to it (salt is full). I got reallly frustrated and manually backwashed this about 3 times one night. Now we have normal water pressure and toilet water is clear. What now? We cannot afford to call a plumber. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Did you fill pool with water that was conditioned? ( I will assume you did not)

How much water did you run?

If the well, started pumping water that was more dirty, it may have clogged up the filters.

Have you went and looked at the filters and see what condition they look?

What do you mean by "sediment? Is it dirt? Is it collard?collard grains? Have you opened the by pass valves on the softener to see if it helped? Let me know. Tom
