I have double sink with garbage disposal on 1 side. Discovered water dripping from bottom disposal when I use it and when I run water in that side of sink. Seems to be coming from area of reset button. Could there be a crack somewhere and do I need a new disposal?

You need to disconnect the plug from the wall and don't use the garbage disposal it is time to replace it with a new one, Thanks.

The most common leak in a disposal is the fat washer between the unit and the drain pipe which is frequently held with but one bolt. Try tightening that bolt 1/4 turn clockwise

Any leak through the bottom is bad news. Replaced one today with identical issue, bad motor seal.

I agree with the experts. If the leak is coming from the bottom of the unit it's time for a replacement. Good luck, Tom.

Gentlemen, I asked you to picture this. The leaking rubber washer of a drain pipe on a dispsal is directly attached to the side of the actual housing. If there is a slow leak the water will run straight down along the housing and exit at the bottom, even if the leak is not at the bottom it may apear so.
