My heat is not coming on. Nothing happens at all in the 'auto' setting of my thermostat. When I turn the thermostat from the auto to the continuous on setting, the blower comes on and will run continuously. The gas furnace doesn't attempt to light. I don't believe the problem is with the furnace. I have had issues with the furnace before but the orange light would always come on and it would at least attempt to light. I don't think the furnace is getting the signal that it is supposed to light. I have four wires coming out of the wall into the thermostat. White, Yellow, Green, and Red. There is also a jumper wire in the thermostat that is installed with the Red wire. I tried to turn the central air on also to help eliminate the possibility of the furnace having an issue. The central air does nothing in the auto setting. Once again I switched it to the continuous on setting, and the blower comes on the same, but the outside central air unit does nothing... Please help me!! :)

No heating and ac tech here but the first thing I would do is open the inside unit and look for a blown low voltage fuse. Probably about 3 to 5 amps. Probably look like a fuse in you car.
