My condensate drain for my attic ac unit was clogged it runs down into the floor drain the hot water heater uses in the garage closet I found the blockage by feeling the pipe for the cold water and when I got to a spot that was warm I cut into it and blew air through it. Apparently the washing machine was runnig at that time and I heard a big gurgling noise from the air and all of a sudde and the washing machine backed up through the floor drain and made a mess. A few minutes later it happened again so I pulled the condensate line out of the drain and sucked the water out with a shop vac to break the suction but have been to scared to try it again to see if it worked. What did I do with the air and how do I fix it? Thanks

You gave your AC condensate line a blow job and now the washer's backing up out of the floor sdrain? Are the two drains combined? I have found That the clogs consists of a jelly like substance that I can clear out by pouring bleach down the pipe. I would hook everything back up and see if it works. Let me know, in detail if it still backs up and we'll address it. Good luck, Tom
