I went my genyspecialist today. She found a little polyp on my cervix amd remove it . Sent it to pathology . He did transvaginal ultrasonogram. She told me that my cervis looks healthy but little bit inflammed. That's why when she touch blood come.after intercourse I also notice vaginal spotting. She told me it need to be freezing . Why I need cryotherapy though I have an normal pap result.

I am curious why these weren't asked of your gyn when you were there.

A normal pap means that there's no cancerous, or pre-cancerous, cells on the cervix. You can have both an inflamed cervix and a normal paptest. I am curious about the cryotherapy and normal pap. I would have thought they would investigate the cause for the inflamed cervix and go from there. Maybe they're just assuming and doing that just to be safe though it seems reckless.

Again these are questions that you need to be asking your doctor. There is a thought process that we're not a part of going on here and we can't and won't assume what it means.

If the spot where the polyp was removed tends to bleed a little, then it would be normal to freeze the spot so that a little tough scar tissue forms there. Nothing to do with cancer at all.

Yes, it's normal with normal polyp removal to have some spotting or bleeding for a few days, but as was said, your doctor should have discussed that with you or provided you with written information. Check back with them for the information.

What to be careful about this is that erythroplakia is other used to describe pre-cancerous lesions, which isn't your case because you've told us your pap is normal. No she does not mention reason. But I have bloody vaginal discharge and abdominAl pain.she said it will after cryosurgery.

Yes we know about that, you have made it abundantly clear that you have bloody discharge.

Why are you asking us questions you need to be asking your doctor. Be insistent, but they're the best source for this information.

I have cervical ectopion. And also cervical polyp found . Biopsy of cervical polyp is normal. After 10 day of my cryotherapy blood come again. I did not sex after cryo. Why this happen? Is that normal?
