I'm in the army I'm planing on getting married with my fiancé after my graduation and I have been a legal resident for 8 years I'm now 19 and so is my fiancé. When she was 13 she came legally with a visa on her passport but because of her mom she overstay, her visa expired in 2013, she never committed a crime or got in any trouble she just graduated from high school, I want to know if after I married her what steps I can take after that and see if we can get her at least some paper to change her status to legal so we can live together while my career in the army. Thank you if you can answer my question

You said you are a "legal resident". Are you a U.S. citizen or a permanent resident? If you are a U.S. citizen, it's pretty straightforward; after marrying you she qualifies for Adjustment of Status because she entered legally. If you are a permanent resident, you should naturalize ASAP, because there's probably no good way to do it as a permanent resident (though it might be possible depending on the specifics).

You should have qualified to apply for naturalization when you turned 18, since you've been a permanent resident for so long. Also, if one of your parents naturalized before you were 18, then you are already a citizen.

(Sorry I assumed the U.S. If this is another country please ignore this answer.)
