The film is made in the 60s or 70s I think (the actually story of the movie is set during the vietnam war I think - in a time where hippies were active), it centers on normal, good standing American family(big house, no apparent in family conflicts, their daughter is an exemplary good girl, etc) every thing idyllic.
Then their daughter goes missing and a good portion of the movie focuses on the parents struggle to find their daughter, if I remember correctly they think she is kidnapped.
If I remember correctly in the end their daughter returns on her own with her boyfriend, it turns out their daughter ran away with some "hippie" guy (now her boyfriend), the movie ends with parents daughter and boyfriend having dinner at the table trying to have a conversation, then the boyfriend says he intends to acquire a nuclear bomb to stop the conflict/cold war.
Could some one please tell me the name of this movie? Thx in advance :)
