Last month I was 8 days late. Once I got my period it was not normal I Had light discolouration for the first day. Day 2 I passed a clot the size of my thumb (was like a string) day 3 very very light bleeding. Day 4 more discolouration. Took 3 tests all negative. This month I am currently 4 days late. No cramping or any indication my period is coming. Anyone have any ideas?

You wasted those tests... you are supposed to be at least 14 days late before you take the first one.
There are a lot of things that can cause a late period... stressing out over being pregnant is only one of them. Unusual periods also happen from time to time, something every woman can expect at some time, and some wil have more than others will.

Ok well I have yet to have any period.. So I don't think the tests were a waste. And I do believe some test's say that they can detect pregnancy as soon as the first day after your missed period. And to me at this time in my life pregnant or not. It won't make a difference to me. I understand that women can basically fake themselves into believe they are pregnant.

What they say and what is true are different things. Studies have shown that HPTs are less than 50% accurate during the first week after a missed due date. This increases to 95% by the end of the second week. So I agree taking the tests within the first week after your due date was a waste.
The real reason to determine if you are pregnant or not is to start on care for the fetus. Not drinking alcohol. Not smoking, taking vitamins, etc. If you ae trying to get pregnant then you will be watching those things anyway.

Ok well does ANYONE have any insight or information other then "go to the dr's" about the no real peroid negative tests and the clot I described. Now I am unsure if I described my situation clearly. Or in enough detail. But the month I was 8 days late. After the 8 days I was only slightly didcolored. Not even enough to wear a tampon/pad passed a clot with very little blood then slight discolouration. I would not classify that as a "peroid" but The first test I took the day after the 4 days of discolouration so that would have been 13 days after I was expecting a period. The other 2 tests were taken probably 3 weeks ago. Now this month I was expecting to have my peroid 5 days ago. Is this common I was a little alarmed about the clot. But no real pain came with it. What could it be.

No, because it would be irresponsible to try and diagnose that without an exam.

I'm not looking for someone to tell me exactly what is wrong. If I was I would go to the doctors or call the nurse hotline. I was simply asking if anyone has had similar experiences. I think I may find another site. 6 years ago I was slightly spotting during pregnancy I posted my concern just to get an idea because one I do not rush off to the doctors every time I think something could be possiably wrong. And two I didn't think it was a big deal. I received some advice saying I should go to the hospital. Cuz it could be serious. Finallt I called the nurses hotline before I decited to go to the hospital and they gave me a straight answer but that I should go and sure enough I miscarried. I hate the hospital 9 times out of 10 I spend minimum of 12 hours there before I am sent home because there is nothing they can do. Like when I broke my big toe. 17 hours waiting to find out they can't do anything for a broken toe. Not even a pain killer. So please understand what my goal is here.

To know exactly why would require a crystal ball, to even narrow it down to a few dozen would as well. They took ours from us after it was determined they didn't actually work. (if its not clear, thats an attempt at humor because stressing about it alone can cause it.)
You are jumping the gun WAY, WAY too fast because you are't even 2 weeks late yet. And grasping at straws. It can't even be determined if you are even pregnant yet. There are hundreds of reasons you could be late... probibly even more... and any one of them or combination can be the reason you are late, in fact there are women that become highly irregular at any point in their life without reason.

May I ask how old you are? Are you currently using a hormonal birth control method? Have you changed methods or manufacturers? Do you track your ovulation cycle? Did you have sex just before ovulation was expected?
When you are sexually active, pregnancy can always be a possibility. If you are concerned, see your doctor for a blood test. That will be the most accurate test available. You have a history of miscarrying so it wouldn't be a waste of your time to see your doctor.
Understand that some women have had pregnancies that didn't test positive with an HPT until they were in the second trimester and some pregnancies have spotting that can mimic an off period.
The early pregnancy tests that claim an accurate result the day after your period is due are basing those claims on today's tests being more accurate than the older tests. Which means the test is 99% more accurate today than it was ten years ago not that it gives accurate results 99% of the time.
All that said, it is very common for women who are extremely regular to have an off month or two. This can be due to hormonal fluctuations caused by contraceptives or time of life changes that can occur in women as young as their 30's. Other causes for off-periods can include health issues, extreme dieting and exercising, stress, or even 'just happened' (seems strange but it does.) The list goes on. If you haven't changed anything, then only a doctor can narrow down what the other issues may or may not be.

I'm not sure you are reading it correctly. I AM TECHNICALY OVER A MONTH LATE !
This is what you said in your initial post:
This month I am currently 4 days late.
So where do you get the Technically being a month late. We can only go by what YOU told us. All the people here volunteer their time and knowledge to help others. Please remember that before you respond rudely to people trying to help you.
Based on what you have told us, all the answers have been accurate and helpful. I'm really not sure what you are expecting from us (or any Q&A site for that matter).
