When my Harley is cold, it starts up immediately. However, say I have been running it for awhile, and I stop for gas or something. If I retry to start it tool soon, I have a lot of trouble getting it started. It turns over just fine, it just won't start. I'll let it sit a bit, and finally I can get it going. What is wrong??

Carb or injection? Does it get spark when hot? If carb, could be a solenoid not opening or flooding. With injection, can you hear pump prime up? Crank position sensor grounding when hot? Could be a shorting ECU, not uncommon when hot.
