My fuel pump recently shut down while at speed. I got a brief check engine light then lost power then shut down. With the engine off, ignition in the on position, the check light will flash then the fuel pump will cycle for a split second a couple of times then fully cycle . I am able to start it after the full cycle. It may run a couple of minutes or for an hour. This is the first twin cam I have owned so I'm not familiar with how the pump sounds, it seems loud to me. It has 15k miles on it. Are these fuel pumps prone to problems or could this be electrical. My last bike was a 1974 shovel head and I miss the simplicity.
