Hello to all,

We live in a 2 story house and when we moved in we discovered it has a dual climate control system. It is just the one unit but there is 2 thermostats one is upstairs and the other is on the main floor. We have noticed that when we set the AC to a certain temp like at 66 it will automattically default back to 73 during the night. Also we have noticed that the thermostat on the main floor isn't working properly. It seems that the whole house is operated on the upstairs thermostat. Like if we set the temp at 68 at night then the whole house will be 68 instead of the main floor being at room temperature. During the winter time we had no issues we were able to set the temps on both floors to our desired taste without a problem. But now its different. I have already replaced the batteries on both thermostats to see if that would do the trick but it hasn't helped. Our electric bill was really high last month and this is the only real reason I can think of. Id rather not have a tech come out if this could be a relatively easy fix.

Any advice/help would be greatly appreciated!
