Dear AtlantaTaxExpert,
I appreciate your insightful answers. They have been very helpful. Can you please help me out with these questions?

1) If I make any mistakes on the tax forms, will I be penalized or will I get a chance to file again?

2) My wife is on H1b and I am on H4 and have not had an income in 2006. So apparently, we file 1040ez jointly. So apart from this form is there any other that we have to file? Do I have to file any other form separately?

1) If you made a mistake in filing and it is a simple math error, the IRS will probably correct it for you. If it is a matter of claiming or not claiming income, you need to fix the error by amending the return using Form 1040X.

2) You need file no other form by yourself. You and your wife may need to file a state income tax return.
