My 20 yr old Craftsman runs like a top until it was left outside and was in a surprise downpour of rain. Now it will not turn the engine when key is turned.
I can turn on the blade switch and hear the solenoid for the blade click.
I turn on the headlights and have none. The dash lights (red) works when ignition switch is turned on and yellow is on till the brake is fully depressed.
I know the safety switch on the seat is OK. I haven't found any fuse yet but was thinking because it was running great till it got soaked if maybe it shorted out something and blew a fuse.
Also do all Craftsman riding mowers have fuses?
What say you?
